Rob Hach – President & Chief Executive Officer
Rob recruits and develops leadership and production team members, assists with securing private equity financing, ensures the proper financial management and manages and directs the daily operations of the company. Rob has served the renewable industry over the last 24 years. A serial entrepreneur starting six companies prior to starting Trusted Energy, Rob served as the President and CEO of Growind, LLC, starting the Company in 2002. Rob successfully raised $750,000 from private angel funds to aid in the spin off of Anemometry Specialists from Growind.
Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation named Rob Hach Entrepreneur of the Year in November 2017.
Along with his successful business ownership, he sits on a select team for the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) aiding in the development of Iowa’s Future Energy Plan. He sits on the Board of Directors for Iowa Wind Energy Association, and holds a board position with the Buena Vista County Farm Bureau. Mr. Hach is a past city councilman for the city of Alta and current Utility Board member. Mr. Hach graduated from Buena Vista University (BVU) with a degree in Entrepreneurship/Business Management.
April Barrera – Development Manager
April has worked for 10 years in the wind development field as a land agent and researcher. Since starting with Trusted Energy in early 2016, she has used her marketing, legal, financial, organizing, research and people skills in every department of our company. She also sits on the Advisory Board for a Giddy, Inc. and Trepson Foundation as well as being the property manager and bookkeeper for two rental properties.
Ken Hach – Wind Energy Pioneer
Ken is a lifelong entrepreneur in wind energy development. Starting in 1977, Ken knew after the second energy embargo that the government wasn’t going to fix this energy crisis and he decided to jump into renewable energy. As one of the foremost experts on utility scale wind farm development. Ken has developed the 3 of the largest wind farms in the United State in 1998 and 1999. Ken has received numerous awards over the years and the most recent was the Friends of Wind Energy from the Iowa Wind Energy Association for this efforts in developing state policy that later spurred the growth of the wind industry in Iowa.
